Matariki Activities

On Thursday this week we celebrated Matariki with some schoolwide activities. in the Middle School we made our way around to each class to try out things like: 

• Making model manu tukutuku (kites) and playing a game called mū tōrere ngāwari with Mr Riceman and Mr Hing-Windsor

• Matariki star art with Mrs McLellan

• Whai (string) games and woven stars with Mr Rattenbury
