As part of our inquiry about animals we visited the Auckland Zoo. The main focus was the New Zealand animals. Our class were taken through the Te Wao Nui (New Zealand) section and saw the native bird enclosure as well as the reptile enclosures. We managed to get around to see most of the other areas of the zoo too. We also had the opportunity to see the Bug Lab and find out some interesting facts about insects.
